Tokyo’s Design Focused Hotel Okura

Head over to Monocle to check out their short film (and related article) on the planned closure of the Hotel Okura in Tokyo. Monocle waxes poetic about the all of the design elements and details in the classic building – as well as the impressive sounding service culture (something that is painfully absent at almost every other hotel I’ve been to).

I’ve not been to the Hotel Okura in Tokyo, but it is legendary. I have wined and dined in the Amsterdam outpost. Not to be missed.

Tokyo's iconic Hotel Okura draws to an end.
